About Zaidy’s

We are a fine goods producer specialising in pastrami. Prepared traditionally, our briskets are brined for two weeks, smoked for 24 hours, and crafted with uncompromising care. Inspired by New York deli tradition but built to set a new standard using high-quality Australian beef, we’ve worked hard to make pastrami that’s worth coming back for.

You’ll find Zaidy’s pastrami in some of Melbourne’s most beloved spots—served hot at places like Kettle Black, Carter Lovett, and Butchers Diner, or sliced fresh to take home from specialty grocers like Leaf, Toscano’s and Stocked. We’re proud to work with venues that care as much about flavour and quality as we do—and we’re always adding new stockists, so keep an eye out. Ways to reheat your Pastrami

Zaidy’s pastrami is fully cooked and ready to eat — it just needs a quick reheat to bring it to life. Click below to explore the different reheating methods.

Pot

Place your vacuum-sealed pastrami pack in simmering water for 4-5 minutes for perfectly warmed, tender slices.

Pan

Bring pan to medium heat, sear pastrami slices for 1–2 minutes per side for a warm centre and caramelised edges.

Microwave

Place slices on a plate, cover and heat for 30–60 seconds for a quick, no-fuss option.
